About the Role
The role focuses on leading the definition and implementation of ISO 19650 information‑management frameworks for large‑scale infrastructure programmes, aligning digital delivery with senior client objectives, and establishing quality and governance processes for digital information. Key responsibilities include developing ISO 19650 documentation, configuring and managing Common Data Environments, defining BIM Execution Plans, ensuring compliance with Master Information Delivery Plans, and overseeing delivery assurance across multidisciplinary teams. • Develop and manage ISO 19650 documentation suites (EIR, BEP, MIDP, TIDP, etc.). • Configure and govern Common Data Environment systems for compliant information exchange. • Define BIM Execution Plans and coordinate with GIS and BIM specialists to meet EIR requirements. • Create and manage Master Information Delivery Plans aligned with framework standards. • Assess and ensure delivery team capacity and capability for information delivery. • Oversee information delivery assurance against agreed acceptance criteria. • Implement BIM and digital delivery processes, including 3D/4D/5D integration and data management. • Lead assessment and deployment of digital tools supporting Modern Methods of Construction. • Support verification of BIM/digital capabilities for engineering, consenting and construction. • Integrate digital design technologies, CAD‑GIS workflows and automated design processes. • Deploy immersive visualization tools such as 3D reality capture, VR/AR, and digital twins. • Provide technical support for BIM software, digital engineering technologies and 3D graphics. • Establish training programmes and communication materials to standardise delivery. • Identify new business opportunities and lead proposal development for digital delivery bids. • Drive innovation and R&D initiatives to maintain AECOM’s competitive edge.

What You Bring
The company seeks professionals with proven experience in information management on major infrastructure programmes, a degree in Engineering, Architecture or a related technical discipline, and advanced knowledge of BIM, GIS integration, 4D/5D methodologies and ISO 19650 implementation. Applicants must be able to obtain UK security clearance and will be considered under the Disability Confident scheme.
