About the Role
The role requires applying electrical design basics and product concepts to identify new cost‑out opportunities, redesigning or providing alternate designs to meet specific customer requirements, and preparing technical compliance agreements with suppliers or customers. The engineer should be able to identify VAVE projects and execute them quickly to satisfy business or customer goals. • Apply electrical design fundamentals and product concepts to generate cost‑out opportunities. • Redesign or propose alternate designs to satisfy specific customer requirements. • Prepare technical compliance agreements with suppliers or customers. • Identify and execute VAVE projects for faster, smoother delivery meeting business or customer goals.

What You Bring
A Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Electronics with cost‑out experience is required. Candidates should have hands‑on experience with electrical components, wires, electronic systems, automotive products, EV/HEV battery systems, UPS, terminals, connectors, and be familiar with supplier qualification for technical aspects. Preferred experience includes product process, testing, and validation activities, as well as awareness of material concepts, part applications, and tools used for the relevant product base. Sound knowledge of application standards such as IEC and UL for various electrical products is essential. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering/Electronics with cost‑out experience. • Hands‑on experience with electrical components, wires, electronic systems, automotive, EV/HEV batteries, UPS, terminals, and connectors. • Preferred background in product process, testing, validation, material concepts, part applications, and related tools. • Knowledge of IEC and UL standards for electrical products.
