About the Role
• Lead end‑to‑end cost management for hyperscale data‑center programs, aligning scope, budget and schedule. • Develop and maintain detailed cost plans, estimates and forecasts using benchmarks and technical data. • Manage change control, negotiate change orders and ensure robust commercial governance. • Review contractor and subcontractor pricing, validate scope and shape procurement strategy. • Integrate cost forecasts with project schedules and provide monthly cost reports and executive summaries. • Conduct cost risk analysis, scenario planning and monitor market trends for pricing and labor. • Drive cost optimisation and value‑engineering to reduce lifecycle costs. • Set and track KPIs, present performance to senior leadership and maintain Business Management Systems. • Mentor junior staff, conduct performance reviews and foster a high‑performance team culture. • Support business development by building client relationships, identifying cross‑selling opportunities and participating in proposals.

What You Bring
The firm is seeking an Associate Director – Cost Manager / Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management on a large‑scale, mission‑critical data‑center programme. This client‑facing leadership role requires strategic direction, stakeholder influence and the ability to embed Turner & Townsend’s purpose, values and vision throughout the project lifecycle. • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering or related field; master’s preferred and RICS accreditation desirable. • 8‑10+ years of cost management or project controls experience on large‑scale, mission‑critical construction projects. • Strong knowledge of MEP systems, resilience requirements and campus‑scale infrastructure. • Expertise in budgeting, financial reporting, Earned Value Management and procurement; proficient with CostX, Oracle, Excel and Primavera. • Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder management and analytical problem‑solving skills.
