Driver - CDL (B)

About the Role

The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous waste removal services. The driver ensures the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards before each shift, adheres to all company, state, and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports to address any defects. Key duties include performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, following route sheets and maps to service customers, operating manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste, and interacting courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. The driver monitors waste for prohibited items, tags unsatisfactory containers, cleans accidental spills, maintains vehicle cleanliness, and completes required productivity and reporting forms while meeting productivity standards.

What You Bring

The role demands strong customer service, time management, and follow‑through skills, as well as a commitment to safety policies, the ReSOP program, and a professional, trustworthy work ethic. Minimum qualifications are a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement.
