About the Role
The Site Civil Engineer supports civil engineering projects from concept through construction, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and ensuring design deliverables meet project goals and regulatory requirements. • Design site plans, grading, drainage, paving, and utilities. • Prepare stormwater management designs and reports meeting agency standards. • Coordinate with other engineering disciplines and architectural leads. • Assist in preparing specifications, contract documents, and procurement of approvals and permits. • Perform quantity take‑offs and cost estimates as needed. • Make engineering decisions on complex design procedures. • Contribute actively to HDR’s employee‑owned, inclusive culture.

What You Bring
Applicants should possess a relevant engineering degree, professional licensure, several years of civil‑site design experience, and proficiency with standard engineering software and office tools. Strong communication, leadership, and a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture are essential. • Apply 4–6 years of civil‑site design experience. • Use Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, HydroCad, and related software. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree and a PE/P.Eng license. • Demonstrate leadership, strong verbal and written communication, and teamwork skills.
