About the Role
Assist in assembling, preparing, and producing meals as directed by the Chef Manager or Head Chef. Maintain cleanliness across food preparation and dining areas, including equipment and utensils. Adhere to the HACCP Food Safety Plan by upholding food safety and hygiene standards, completing all documentation accurately and on time. Operate kitchen equipment safely and ensure it remains clean and well‑maintained. • Assemble and prepare meals under Chef's direction • Maintain cleanliness of food preparation and dining areas • Follow HACCP food safety plan and complete required documentation • Operate kitchen equipment safely and keep it well‑maintained

What You Bring
We’re seeking dedicated Catering Assistants who take pride in delivering high‑quality food and service. The successful candidate must have a Certificate II or higher in Commercial Cookery. To be successful, you'll have a Certificate II in Kitchen Operations (or higher) and valid Food Safety Certificates. Prior experience in a commercial kitchen setting and sound knowledge of HACCP Food Safety guidelines are required. Strong written and verbal communication skills, excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities are also essential. • Hold Certificate II in Kitchen Operations or higher • Possess valid Food Safety certificates • Have prior experience in a commercial kitchen • Demonstrate strong knowledge of HACCP guidelines • Exhibit strong written and verbal communication skills • Show excellent teamwork and interpersonal abilities
