Lead delivery of multidisciplinary energy design projects (FEED & detailed)

About the Role
The role’s primary responsibility is to lead the delivery of complex, multidisciplinary design projects, covering civil, process, electrical, mechanical protection, control and secondary disciplines, while ensuring scope, time, quality and cost targets are met. • Lead delivery of multidisciplinary FEED and detailed design projects for OCGT/CCGT and other energy schemes. • Manage project scope, schedule, quality and cost against agreed targets. • Build and maintain senior client and internal stakeholder relationships. • Coordinate communications across multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment. • Drive problem‑solving, decision‑making and proactive risk management. • Administer contracts and control commercial aspects of projects. • Oversee health, safety and wellbeing practices on project sites. • Mentor and develop project‑management capability within the business.

What You Bring
Successful candidates will have a proven record of delivering energy‑sector design projects for designers, contractors or major clients, experience managing multidisciplinary teams, and strong knowledge of contract administration, change, risk, schedule and cost management. Essential requirements include an engineering or management degree (or equivalent experience), excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills, and the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously. Desirable qualifications are PM certifications such as PMQ, PMP or PRINCE2 and experience across the full project lifecycle. • Hold an engineering or management degree or equivalent project‑management experience in the energy sector. • Demonstrated success delivering multidisciplinary design projects for designers, contractors or major clients. • Strong communication, collaboration and stakeholder‑management abilities. • Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects in a fast‑paced environment. • Experience with contract administration, change, risk, schedule and cost management. • Desirable: PM certifications such as PMQ, PMP or PRINCE2 and experience across all project lifecycle stages.
