About the Role

The Scheduling Manager provides technical assistance in creating and updating CMP schedules throughout all project phases, from conceptual design to closeout, and may develop proposal‑level schedules for project pursuits. Acting as Sundt’s in‑house scheduling expert, the manager coordinates CPM schedule creation and updates with project teams, assists with initial schedule development, conducts peer reviews, and troubleshoots revisions as needed. They also customize reports and make modifications within the Primavera application to align with the Sundt Way. • Incorporate design conflict effects into the CPM schedule. • Analyze CPM schedule performance to support claim development. • Manage CPM schedule execution, coordinating means, methods, manpower, equipment, and materials. • Lead CPM schedule review meetings during proposal, baseline, and update phases. • Develop proposal‑phase CPM schedules using estimating data and historical records. • Ensure project schedules follow Sundt Way policies and specification requirements. • Create and deliver Primavera P6 training, in‑person or via distance learning. • Supervise staff by providing feedback, identifying training needs, and conducting development reviews. • Set up new jobs and schedule templates within the Primavera system. • Facilitate cross‑functional teams and build strong relationships at all organizational levels. • Communicate business objectives clearly to technical and non‑technical audiences. • Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend. • Comply with all safety standards and procedures. • Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, carry, or feel objects. • Interact regularly with people and technology throughout the shift. • Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects weighing pounds. • Sit, stand, or walk short distances for the duration of a shift. • Frequently use telephone, computer, email, and other electronic devices for communication.

What You Bring

• Minimum 5 years experience with SureTrak, P3, P5 or P6 and 7‑10 years construction scheduling/execution experience. • Work independently while handling multiple projects, diffusing conflicts, and keeping teams focused. • Demonstrate a positive, flexible problem‑solving attitude with strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills. • Proficient with current Microsoft Windows, Office 2007 suite, and Visio.
