About the Role

The helper works under journeyman-level workers, performing tasks such as wire wheeling, grinding, drilling, masking, stenciling, and general equipment maintenance. Additional duties include supplying equipment, materials, and tools, as well as handling and disposing of hazardous materials under supervisor direction. The role also requires applying knowledge gained from previous assignments and completing other tasks as assigned. • Assist journeyman workers with wire wheeling, grinding, drilling, masking, stenciling, and equipment maintenance. • Supply and manage tools, materials, and equipment needed for tasks. • Handle and dispose of hazardous materials safely under supervision. • Apply prior work knowledge to complete assigned duties. • Maintain physical capability to wear a respirator, lift 50‑lb sacks, climb ladders, and work at heights or in confined spaces. • Ensure no safety or health risk to self or others.

What You Bring

Applicants must be a high school graduate or equivalent and be medically and physically capable of wearing a respirator, lifting 50‑pound sacks, climbing ladders, and working at heights or in enclosed spaces. Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, hold a valid state driver’s license, and be able to obtain a Tactical Operator License, a Common Access Card, and a Base Access badge. The individual must not present a safety or health threat to themselves or others. • Meet high school graduate or equivalent education requirement. • Possess U.S. citizenship, a valid state driver’s license, and obtain required Tactical Operator License and Common Access Card.
