Join us as a Quality Technician on the 3rd shift, where you will ensure the highest quality standards in the production of high‑voltage bushings and related components that power electrical systems worldwide. In this role you will test and inspect high‑voltage bushings and associated products, operate test equipment, record performance data, create certification reports, and maintain quality assurance databases. You will also conduct audits of components such as transformer oil and epoxy resin, troubleshoot test circuits, communicate significant quality issues, and serve as a primary contact for customers during testing. • Test and inspect high‑voltage bushings and related components to prescribed standards. • Operate high‑voltage test equipment, connect circuits, and troubleshoot questionable results. • Document test data, generate certification reports, and update quality assurance databases. • Perform detailed audits of materials such as transformer oil and epoxy resin. • Communicate repeat or significant quality issues for corrective action. • Serve as the primary customer contact during testing, providing documentation and insights. • Maintain safety standards and adhere to all workplace safety protocols.

What You Bring

The position follows a consistent Monday‑to‑Friday schedule from 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM, with initial training on the 1st shift lasting approximately 2–3 months. Flexibility to work occasional 1st or 2nd shifts, split shifts, or overtime may be required. Successful candidates will have at least a high school diploma or GED, strong mathematical abilities, and excellent written communication skills. An associate degree in electrical engineering or related experience is a plus, along with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and uphold strict safety standards. The position is hands‑on and requires standing, walking, and occasional lifting of up to 35 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance), normal vision, and the use of various tools and equipment. • Possess high school diploma/GED; associate degree in Electrical Engineering is a plus. • Demonstrate strong mathematical and written communication skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑changing production environment. • Meet physical demands: stand, walk, lift 35 lb unaided (50 lb with assistance), and work with tools.
