About the Role
The Porter/Yard Worker (also referred to as a Yard Associate) is responsible for positioning and retrieving equipment on the site, maintaining a written maintenance schedule, and servicing equipment as needed to meet specifications. The role also inspects tools before and after rental to document loss or damage, and must handle physical tasks such as bending, squatting, lifting 50 lb or more, both indoors and outdoors.

What You Bring
Candidates with a high school diploma or GED and experience using common construction and industrial tools are preferred, as is any background in mechanical equipment repair. Strong communication, basic math, Microsoft Office familiarity, mechanical aptitude, safety focus, and bilingual ability (where required) are valuable assets. • High school diploma or GED preferred • Experience with common construction and industrial tools preferred • Some experience and/or training in repair of mechanical equipment preferred • Ability to communicate effectively with customers (written and oral) • Ability to perform basic math skills (add, subtract, multiply and divide) • Working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc) • General mechanical aptitude • Bilingual (Spanish or other) may be required based on location needs
