About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck, provides courteous waste removal services, ensures vehicle compliance with company safety standards, adheres to all state and federal regulations, and completes daily vehicle condition reports. The role includes performing thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, operating manual or automatic controls to load, compact, and dispose of waste, reading route sheets, and maintaining professional interactions with customers and dispatchers while following safety policies and productivity standards. • Perform complete pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections and report safety issues. • Safely operate a heavy collection truck along assigned routes, loading, compacting, and disposing of waste. • Read route sheets and follow maps to service each customer as directed. • Interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers to ensure timely service. • Identify and tag unsatisfactory waste containers per departmental procedures. • Monitor waste for unacceptable material and clean accidental spills following safety standards. • Keep the vehicle operationally ready, cleaning waste from the packer blade and truck body each trip. • Complete route/productivity sheets, vehicle condition reports, and other required documentation daily. • Meet productivity standards and adhere to all safety policies, participating in the ReSOP program. • Utilize health care and dependent care spending accounts. • Participate in Employee and Family Assistance Program (EAP) and employee discount programs.

What You Bring
Candidates should have at least two years of commercial truck experience, possess a Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with an air‑brake endorsement, and demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities. • Demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through abilities. • Hold a Class B (or higher) commercial driver’s license with air‑brake endorsement. • Two years of prior commercial truck driving experience preferred.
