About the Role
Within a designated market, the Construction Account Manager is responsible for identifying leads and proactively prospecting and selling temporary waste removal to customers primarily in the construction industry. They also build and grow long‑term relationships and increase revenue to meet and exceed monthly targeted profitable growth objectives. The role involves meeting regularly with prospective and existing clients in the assigned market area to deliver sales presentations, follow up with key decision makers, and sell all services as appropriate. The manager utilizes Salesforce daily to schedule and document activities such as calls, meetings, and proposals. Principal responsibilities include maintaining and retaining existing customers, identifying viable leads, managing prospects, exceeding monthly growth goals, generating sales leads for permanent opportunities, reviewing performance with the Sales Manager, partnering with operations to resolve service issues, and representing the company at trade shows and community events. • Identify and prospect leads for temporary waste removal in the construction sector. • Build and maintain long‑term customer relationships to achieve monthly profitable growth targets. • Deliver sales presentations, follow up with decision‑makers, and close all service lines. • Use Salesforce daily to log calls, meetings, proposals, and schedule activities. • Generate permanent‑sales leads for other representatives to capture additional revenue. • Collaborate with operations to resolve service issues and ensure customer satisfaction. • Represent the company at trade shows, chambers of commerce, and community events. • Meet with Sales Manager weekly to review retention, progress, and key accounts. • Participate in 401(k) with company match, ESPP, employee discounts, and paid time off.
