About the Role

The coordinator will read technical drawings, perform quality assurance reviews of inspection reports, develop testing protocols, and provide technical consultation to clients. • Provide coordination support to inspection staff. • Read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and industry standards. • Perform quality assurance reviews of inspection reports and project documentation; sign off approvals. • Develop inspection and testing protocols/processes based on specification requirements. • Conduct technical reviews and provide consultation to clients as needed.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a BS/BE in civil, mechanical or electrical engineering, possess ten years of engineering, inspection and audit experience (railroad experience a plus), and have strong communication and computer skills. PE registration in NY/NJ is desired, and they must adhere to WSP’s code of conduct and safety policies. • BS/BE in Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering. • Minimum 10 years of engineering, inspection, and audit experience (railroad experience a plus). • NY or NJ Professional Engineer registration preferred. • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Proficiency with MS Office and general computer applications. • Master’s degree in Engineering (preferred). • 40‑Hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification (preferred). • Basic First Aid and Adult CPR training (desired).

The salary range for this position is $103,000–$170,500, subject to experience and internal equity. • Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. • Retirement savings plan. • Paid sick leave, vacation, parental leave, bereavement, voting and naturalization leave. • Salary range $103,000 – $170,500, adjusted for experience, qualifications, and location.
