About the Role

The Sr Analyst, People Analytics and Reporting leads intake, planning, communication, and oversight of complex HR data projects for a 43,000‑employee Fortune 300 company. Using Workday, Snowflake, and Power BI, the analyst transforms data into insights that guide business decisions and supports both HR and operational leaders. Key responsibilities include interfacing with executive and operational managers to define and deliver COE‑specific dashboards, ensuring data governance and security, responding to ad‑hoc data requests, standardizing and cleansing system data, and creating technical specifications, flow diagrams, and test scripts for reporting solutions. • Lead end‑to‑end HR analytics projects, from intake through delivery, using Workday, Snowflake, and Power BI. • Develop and maintain interactive dashboards, proof‑of‑concepts, and data connections for HR and operational teams. • Perform data analysis, storytelling, and present actionable insights to executive and operational leadership. • Ensure data governance, security, and data quality across all HR systems and reporting processes. • Write SQL/JSON queries, create technical specifications, and define reporting metrics and calculations. • Collaborate with IT architecture, HR Centers of Excellence, developers, and database engineers to meet design and timeline requirements.

What You Bring

The role spends roughly 30% on project calls, 30% on technical development, 20% on data analysis and storytelling, and 20% on ad‑hoc support for HR business partners. The ideal candidate has five or more years of progressive HR/People Analytics experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to code in SQL and JSON while influencing peers and leaders. Qualifications require solid experience in project management of technical HR initiatives, proficiency with BI tools such as Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, and Alteryx, and expertise in extracting and analyzing data from large warehouses like Snowflake using SQL or advanced Excel. Candidates must also demonstrate data‑storytelling abilities, familiarity with HR metrics, and working knowledge of SharePoint. • Minimum 5+ years experience in HR/People Analytics with progressive responsibility and project management exposure. • Proficient in Power BI, Qlik, Tableau, Alteryx, Snowflake, SQL, advanced Excel (macros, pivot tables/charts), and SharePoint. • Experience translating HR metrics—turnover, time‑to‑hire, absenteeism, cost of attrition—into business‑impacting recommendations.
