What You Bring

NV5 Geospatial is hiring a GIS System Architect. The role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance. The architect will deliver complex IT solutions focused on advanced geospatial systems and integrations, refine user requirements, and ensure alignment with Enterprise Architecture standards. The position is based within commuting distance of Washington, DC and follows a hybrid schedule with at least two days per week onsite at the client location. Travel may be required up to 5-15% of the time. • Hold a bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science, or a related field (minimum). • Possess 6+ years of experience architecting geospatial systems for Federal agencies. • Demonstrate proficiency with Agile methodologies, resource planning, contract compliance, performance reporting, and stakeholder coordination. • Preferred: master’s degree, 8+ years of relevant experience, and an active Public Trust clearance. • Must be a U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

The compensation range for this Washington, DC role is $105,000‑$120,000 annually, subject to experience and qualifications.
