About the Role
In this role you will train team members on safety, quality, product operations, lean manufacturing, and tool use through lectures, hands‑on labs, and shop‑floor applications. You will work with business leaders to identify training needs, create agendas and schedules, maintain a safe and engaging classroom environment, coordinate equipment and supplies, evaluate training materials, monitor participant feedback, and document training records. Additional duties include conducting train‑the‑trainer sessions, authoring new programs, and initiating training‑needs surveys. • Deliver training on safety, quality, product operations, lean manufacturing, and tool use using lectures, labs, and shop‑floor applications • Consult business leaders to assess training needs and develop training agendas and schedules • Prepare, maintain, and modify training materials, handouts, and learning aids • Manage a safe, respectful classroom environment that fosters active adult learning • Coordinate equipment, supplies, and logistics for training sessions • Evaluate participant feedback and document training records and reports • Conduct train‑the‑trainer sessions and create new training programs • Initiate training‑needs surveys and self‑assessment tools to identify development gaps

What You Bring
The position requires at least a high school diploma and two years of experience in a training, coaching, or instructional capacity within a manufacturing or technical setting, plus two years of hands‑on hydraulic or mechanical experience. Strong communication, presentation, and multi‑program management skills are essential, along with proficiency in Microsoft Office and comfort with instructional technologies. An associate or bachelor’s degree, experience with continuous‑improvement tools such as Kaizen or 5S, and background in training‑needs assessments are considered assets. • Hold a high school diploma with 2+ years of training/coaching experience in manufacturing • Possess 2+ years of hands‑on hydraulic or mechanical experience and strong presentation skills • Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable with instructional technologies
