About the Role
The role is for an Engineer within the multidisciplinary pavement engineering and construction materials team, working on airports, ports, highways and related transport infrastructure. It targets engineers who have moved beyond graduate level and are ready to build confidence through live project involvement, developing technical capability and engineering judgement. • Support pavement design for new construction, maintenance, assessment and evaluation across airports, ports and highways. • Collaborate with senior engineers, project teams and multidisciplinary disciplines. • Provide technical advice on aggregates, asphalt, concrete, hydraulically bound mixtures and soils. • Perform engineering calculations, analysis and contribute to technical reports and contract documentation. • Assist with site‑based activities such as inspections, sampling and supervision support. • Apply specifications and standards, respond to technical queries and seek mentorship as needed. • Utilise engineering tools like Excel, data‑led analysis and digital platforms; provide limited CAD support. • Contribute to project delivery within agreed scopes and budgeted hours.

What You Bring
Candidates should hold an engineering degree or equivalent and show interest or developing experience in pavement engineering, industrial pavements, airports, ports, highways or construction materials such as asphalt, aggregates, HBM and concrete. They must be able to independently apply specifications and standards while knowing when to seek guidance. • Hold an Engineering degree and demonstrate interest or experience in pavement engineering or related materials. • Demonstrate ability to independently use specifications while recognising when to ask for guidance.
