About the Role
The Leasing Consultant role focuses on leasing, marketing and resident relations for a property, with duties ranging from showing units and processing leases to handling resident requests and supporting retention programs. • Attend the property daily and show, qualify, tour, and lease prospective residents. • Generate leads, schedule appointments, maintain model units, and complete all leasing paperwork before move‑in. • Keep prospect traffic and leasing data accurate; respond to leads within 24 hours. • Apply sales and marketing strategies to increase traffic, improve closing ratios, and meet or exceed leasing goals. • Perform administrative tasks, assist with lease audits, unit walkthroughs, and the turn process. • Address resident complaints, concerns, and requests to ensure satisfaction and enforce community policies. • Develop and execute resident retention initiatives such as events, promotions and newsletters. • Support the annual marketing plan, conduct market surveys, and produce weekly market reports. • Provide excellent customer service, monitor service‑request turnaround, and promote a positive community image.

What You Bring
• Require a high school diploma or equivalent and basic computer skills; knowledge of Fair Housing Laws and OSHA is required. • Physical demands include frequent walking, climbing ladders or stairs, lifting up to 25 lb, standing or sitting for long periods, and working in various weather conditions and confined spaces. • Ability to work overtime, weekends, and night hours for emergencies.
