About the Role

In this role you will prepare competitive tenders and proposals that meet customer requirements while aligning with the company's technical capabilities and strategic objectives. Your work will directly impact new business acquisition, profitability protection, and customer satisfaction. • Lead the overall tender process from opportunity review through to handover • Review project and customer requirements to develop strong technical and commercial proposals • Coordinate with internal stakeholders including factories, legal, supply chain, engineering and finance teams • Conduct detailed risk assessments and propose mitigation strategies • Develop optimised solutions technically, financially and logistically • Support negotiations where required and contribute to broader project strategy • Ensure smooth and accurate transfer of awarded projects into the execution phase

What You Bring

The position is based in Brisbane (preferred) or Sydney with a hybrid working arrangement. Schneider Electric is seeking an experienced Tender Engineer to help win complex power system projects as Australia invests in smarter, safer, and more resilient energy infrastructure. • Possess good technical knowledge of medium and low voltage equipment and transformers; switchroom (eHouse) knowledge preferred • Demonstrate solid commercial and contractual understanding, including Incoterms and common legal clauses • Proven ability to lead and coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders in complex environments • Highly structured, pragmatic and proactive with strong ownership of outcomes
