About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous waste removal services for customers. The role includes following assigned routes, loading and compacting refuse, and delivering material to the disposal site while maintaining professional interactions with customers and dispatchers. Prior to each shift the driver conducts comprehensive pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, verifies tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment and completes daily vehicle condition reports to ensure any defects are addressed promptly. Ongoing monitoring of vehicle condition and cleanliness helps minimize downtime. The driver must adhere to all company, state and federal regulations, follow safety policies, participate in the ReSOP program, and meet productivity standards by accurately completing route and productivity sheets.
