About the Role

In this collaborative position, you will partner with industry strategy, product marketing, campaign, content, field, and sales teams to define the voice, needs, and opportunities for the Building Engineering audience. Your work will translate customer insights into clear messaging, compelling content, and full‑funnel marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, demand, and customer success. You will own the global audience marketing strategy for building engineers, developing personas, value propositions, positioning, and messaging that highlight Autodesk’s differentiated value across structural design, building systems engineering, analysis, coordination, and sustainability workflows. As the internal champion for this audience, you will inform product, strategy, sales, and cross‑functional marketing decisions. Driving customer research, engineering workflow insights, competitive analysis, and market trends, you will turn findings into actionable frameworks, ICP definitions, and audience‑level narratives. Partnering with content and campaign teams, you will produce high‑impact assets such as customer stories, case studies, webinars, thought leadership, and points of view tailored to engineers. You will plan and execute multi‑channel, full‑funnel campaigns with defined objectives, success metrics, and core messages, while continuously refining strategy based on analytics. Collaboration with sales, technical sales, and industry strategy teams will ensure aligned go‑to‑market priorities and the creation of audience‑centric enablement content, including personas, talk tracks, value messaging, and playbooks. • Define and execute global audience marketing strategy for Structural and MEP engineers. • Develop personas, value propositions, positioning, and messaging for building engineering workflows. • Conduct customer research, competitive analysis, and market trend studies to inform marketing frameworks. • Create high‑impact content such as case studies, webinars, and thought‑leadership pieces tailored to engineers. • Plan and run multi‑channel, full‑funnel campaigns, setting objectives and measuring performance. • Align marketing programs with sales and go‑to‑market priorities, producing enablement assets and playbooks. • Build cross‑functional relationships to integrate audience insights into product, PR, web, events, and education. • Communicate audience strategy and market opportunities internally and represent the audience in planning cycles.

What You Bring

Building engineers play a vital role in creating the world’s tallest skyscrapers and combating climate change. Autodesk is seeking a marketing leader who will use strategic storytelling and deep audience insight to champion the Structural and MEP Engineering segments. The role requires at least five years of product, industry, or segment marketing experience, preferably in SaaS and B2B, along with a deep understanding of AEC trends and engineering professionals’ needs. Strong analytical, presentation, and data‑driven decision‑making skills are essential, as is the ability to track key performance and financial indicators. A BA/BS is required; an MBA or equivalent experience is a plus. • Minimum 5 years experience in product, industry, or segment marketing (SaaS/B2B preferred) with strong AEC knowledge. • Proven track record of launching products, defining go‑to‑market plans, and using data‑driven decision making.
