About the Role
This role supports a Lean manufacturing, team‑based production facility by applying tools such as Lean, Shop Floor Management, the Masco Operating System, and core company values of People, Credibility, High Performance Teams, Customer Service and Continuous Improvement. The employee must perform duties accurately, stay organized, be customer‑focused, maintain a positive attitude, and be willing to work overtime while seeking to improve business processes. Key responsibilities include following standardized work, meeting or exceeding production standards, loading and unloading parts, inspecting, packing, and recording production data with scan guns or manual entry, and delivering parts to subsequent processes. The employee also operates powered industrial equipment (forklift trucks, tuggers, hand carts, drills, sanders, polishers) and contributes to safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements. Safety duties involve performing ERGO stretches, observing and reporting hazards, maintaining 5‑S housekeeping, and completing hazard observations according to Delta’s procedures. The member must accept or reject parts to DS‑500 specifications, place questionable parts on hold, and communicate with leadership when needed. • Follow standardized work and meet or exceed production standards. • Load, unload, inspect, pack, and record parts using scan guns or manual entry. • Operate powered industrial equipment such as forklifts, tuggers, drills, sanders and polishers. • Perform ERGO stretches, hazard observations, and 5‑S housekeeping; report unsafe actions. • Contribute to continuous improvement in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. • Accept or reject parts to DS‑500 specifications and place questionable parts on hold. • Maintain attendance and disciplinary standards for promotion eligibility. • Apply basic math, reasoning, and critical‑thinking skills to follow instructions.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or equivalency is recommended; manufacturing experience is preferred but not required. Candidates should be able to read and interpret safety rules, specifications, work instructions, and ERP systems, perform basic mathematics, and apply reasoning to follow written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions. The role requires critical thinking, problem‑solving, the ability to work independently with limited supervision, and adherence to attendance and disciplinary performance standards for promotion eligibility. Physical demands include standing, walking, reaching, occasional sitting, stooping, kneeling, and lifting up to 40 lb, with a possible Human Performance Evaluation to verify ability. • Possess a high school diploma or equivalency and be able to read technical documents. • Meet physical demands including standing, walking, reaching and lifting up to 40 lb.

Benefits
The Production Member – Color Load works the first shift from 4:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M. with a starting hourly rate of $20.65 to $22.15, depending on hire date.
