About the Role
The Senior Engineer is responsible for contributing to the design, development, and implementation of advanced engineering solutions. This role demands extensive technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and a proven track record of significant contributions to projects. The Senior Engineer will provide guidance, drive innovations, and play a key role in ensuring the successful execution of Hubbell’s complex engineering initiatives. Supporting both business segments are corporate and Hubbell Unified Business Solutions teams that provide consistent processes, tools, and technologies across the businesses. • Provide technical leadership and expertise in designing, developing, and implementing engineering solutions. • Lead or significantly contribute to engineering projects, ensuring timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met. • Conduct in‑depth technical analysis, simulations, and tests to validate designs, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. • Communicate project updates, technical findings, and recommendations effectively to stakeholders. • Identify and implement process improvements and methodologies to optimize engineering workflows. • Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure high‑quality outcomes. • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and objectives. • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and safety protocols throughout the engineering process. • Provide technical training and guidance to team members, fostering skill development and growth.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (General, Mechanical, or Electrical) or related field (required). • 6–8 years of progressive engineering experience with a focus on design, development, or project management (required). • Proficiency in relevant engineering software and tools (e.g., CAD, simulation tools) (required). • Proven track record of successfully contributing to engineering projects. • Strong understanding of engineering principles, theories, and best practices. • Experience in project management, including planning, prioritization, and successful execution of engineering projects. • Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring on‑time delivery within budget and quality parameters. • Excellent problem‑solving abilities with attention to detail and informed decision‑making based on thorough analysis. • Strong written and verbal communication skills. • Understanding of industry regulations, compliance requirements, and best practices related to engineering standards and safety protocols.
