What You Bring
Position Overview: This is the second level of the Engineering classification. The role provides engineering and technical expertise to solve more complex problems in a specific area, with some supervision. Incumbents are expected to develop advanced skills and work with greater independence. • Communicate effectively both orally and in writing. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree from an EAC/ABET‑accredited engineering program (or equivalent NCEES evaluation or advanced degree from an accredited institution). • Possess 2–4 years of practicing engineering experience. • Understand basic engineering theories, principles, and design research practices. • Demonstrate ability to evaluate alternatives, make sound recommendations, and present findings. • Exhibit strong written and oral communication skills. • Self‑motivated and able to work independently. • Team‑oriented and customer‑focused. • Pass the Engineering Fundamentals Exam. • Understand basic project management principles. • Have experience in the utility industry.
