About the Role
The Maintenance Supervisor oversees the general upkeep of a multi‑unit residential property of higher complexity, handling everything from mechanical and plumbing systems to carpentry and housekeeping. This role involves both hands‑on repairs and the coordination of maintenance staff to ensure the property remains safe and functional. • Supervise, train, and evaluate maintenance staff, recommending hires and discipline. • Diagnose, repair, and maintain mechanical systems including heating and air conditioning. • Perform carpentry tasks such as installing doors, moldings, drywall repair and painting. • Inspect and service electrical systems, replacing faulty switches, lamps, and ballasts. • Conduct plumbing repairs, unclogging fixtures, fixing faucets, and replacing pipes. • Develop specifications, solicit bids, and negotiate contracts with vendors and contractors. • Enable growth and advancement opportunities within Brookfield Properties.

What You Bring
A high school diploma or GED is required, with 3‑4 years of commercial or multi‑unit property maintenance experience preferred; 5‑7 years can offset the education requirement. Preferred certifications include HVAC, electrical, and appliance qualifications, as well as a valid driver’s license. Compensation ranges from $25.80 to $36.12 hourly, commensurate with experience.
