About the Role

The Security Operations Center (SOC) Administrator/Operator will join a highly trained safety, security, and medical response team. The role is responsible for protecting members, guests, employees, contractors, and property by deterring, detecting, and responding to threats, following the community safety and security policies. Primary duties include monitoring alarm, access‑control, and surveillance systems; dispatching security personnel; handling reception and concierge services; operating drones for patrols and emergencies; and performing a variety of administrative tasks such as record‑keeping, citation processing, and daily activity reporting. The position also coordinates with internal and external partners during incidents and maintains a clean work environment. • Monitor alarm, access‑control, and surveillance systems. • Dispatch security personnel via radio and telephone. • Perform reception duties including customer service, phone handling, and record management. • Provide concierge service to members, guests, and employees. • Operate UAS (drones) for routine patrols, special events, and emergencies. • Manage administrative tasks across multiple software platforms. • Administer, maintain, and organize parking and speed citations per HOA policies. • Maintain investigation records, electronic and hard‑copy files, and daily activity reports. • Assist in investigations and ensure superior customer service. • Prevent unauthorized access through surveillance monitoring. • Coordinate with internal security and external partners during incidents. • Conduct ongoing monthly training and sustainment sessions. • Keep the work center clean and organized. • Organize records efficiently. • Deliver tasks accurately and on time. • Apply strategic thinking to solve complex problems and plan for the future.

What You Bring

Success in the role requires strong organization, collaboration across departments, clear verbal and written communication, consistent delivery of accurate results, and strategic thinking to solve complex problems and plan for the future. Candidates must have at least two years of armed security, law‑enforcement, or military experience, with preferred experience in dispatch, call‑center, or SOC settings. A valid Tennessee Armed Guard License with Dallas Law training, a Tennessee driver’s license, a clear criminal background, and at least a high school diploma or GED are required. Proficiency with computers, Microsoft Office, Adobe, and common software applications is essential. • Communicate clearly both verbally and in writing. • Minimum 2 years of armed security, law‑enforcement, or military experience. • Preferred experience in dispatch, call‑center, or SOC environments. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Adobe, and internet navigation. • Valid Tennessee Armed Guard License with Dallas Law training. • Valid Tennessee driver’s license and clear criminal background. • High school diploma or GED (higher education acceptable). • Administrative and record‑keeping expertise. • Knowledge of Genetec Security Desk and Smart PTT. • Experience with Motorola communication systems and entry access systems. • FAA Part 107 certified drone operation.
