About the Role
The Driver – CDL (B) safely operates a collection truck to provide prompt, courteous, and complete waste removal services. The role includes ensuring the vehicle meets the company’s safety standards before each shift and adhering to all company, state, and federal regulations. Drivers perform thorough pre‑ and post‑operation inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and report any issues on standard reports. While on route, they read the route sheet, operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of waste, and interact courteously with customers, dispatchers, and coworkers. They monitor waste for unacceptable conditions, tag problematic containers, clean spills, and keep the vehicle clean and operational to minimize downtime. Drivers also complete required route sheets, vehicle condition reports, and productivity logs while meeting productivity standards and participating in the company’s ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
The position requires a Class B (or higher) Commercial Driver’s License with an air‑brake endorsement. Successful drivers demonstrate strong customer service, time‑management, and follow‑through skills, and consistently adhere to safety policies and company rules. They take pride in their work, act with honesty and trustworthiness, and maintain a professional, cooperative attitude toward customers and coworkers.

Pay ranges from $23.40 to $32.17 per hour, varying by locality.
