About the Role

In this role you will install and test electrical and electronic systems, adhere to NEC standards while installing wireways, conduits, and cable trays, and perform utility wire connections. You will also read blueprints, thread conduit, maintain tools, and keep work areas clean and safe while mentoring shift employees. • Install and test electrical/electronic systems, circuits, and equipment • Install wireways, conduits, and cable trays to NEC code and specifications • Read blueprints and conduct conduit threading • Maintain tools in good working condition • Train and mentor shift employees • Keep work areas clean and organized for safety • Follow safety protocols and attend safety meetings

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a vocational or technical degree in electricity, and at least three years of industrial or commercial electrical experience. A Master or Journeyman Electrician license, solid knowledge of the NEC, and familiarity with MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives are preferred. • Perform simple utility wire connections and understand electrical circuits • High school diploma or GED (preferred) • Vocational/technical degree in electricity or equivalent experience • 3+ years industrial or commercial electrical experience • Master or Journeyman Electrician license (preferred) • Knowledge of the National Electric Code (NEC) • Experience with MCCs, substation switchgear, and variable frequency drives
