About the Role

In this role you will lead the design of innovative, sustainable solutions addressing leakage, clean water provision and sewage disposal, often within fast‑paced, reactive project environments. Responsibilities include coordinating teams from design definition through implementation, ensuring compliance, quality assurance, programme and cost control, and representing the company in client meetings while mentoring junior staff and contributing to commercial success through forecasting, risk management and bid production.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in UK water and wastewater infrastructure, demonstrated project management competence, and a desire to drive professional growth while making a sector impact. Essential qualifications include chartered status with a recognised project management body and a professional institution, proven delivery of large‑scale projects, and strong communication and collaboration skills. • Chartered status with a recognised project management institution (e.g., APM). • Chartered membership of a professional institution (e.g., ICE, CIWEM, IChemE). • Proven experience managing UK water and wastewater projects to scope, time and budget. • Experience delivering large‑scale, complex water infrastructure projects. • Ability to lead multi‑disciplinary teams and ensure effective collaboration. • Strong oral and written communication skills. • Experience preparing successful bids and engaging clients. • Willingness to travel to other offices and sites as required. • Experience managing NEC Professional Service Contracts. • Good understanding of designers’ responsibilities under CDM. • Track record of building capability of junior staff.
