About the Role
The Janitorial Supervisor works two shifts: the first shift runs from 6 am to 2:30 pm on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, while the second shift runs from noon to 8:30 pm on Saturday and Sunday. In this role the supervisor oversees the overall performance of the cleaning department, ensuring alignment with Velociti Services’ standards and client expectations. • Supervise cleaning staff, maintaining cleanliness standards and proper conduct. • Respond to client inquiries and relay specific cleaning requests to the team. • Review and manage work schedules and cleaning‑supply inventory. • Monitor cleaning activities and conduct worksite inspections. • Enforce health and safety policies and quickly resolve staff disputes. • Train new employees and perform general cleaning duties as needed. • Communicate with management and address client complaints. • Lift boxes or packages up to 60 lb; bend, squat, stretch, and climb stairs repeatedly.
