About the Role
The current opportunity is for an HVAC Service Technician. The role involves servicing products and equipment on assigned projects, ensuring customer satisfaction, and performing preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed. • Service products and equipment on assigned projects and ensure customer satisfaction • Use hand tools, follow blueprints or engineering specifications to diagnose and repair units • Identify, analyze, diagnose, and repair systems and products at customer locations • Perform preventative maintenance, site surveys, replacements, and modifications as needed • Prepare for on‑site installation and repairs by examining building layout, anticipating difficulties, gathering materials, and coordinating work • Inspect vehicles for condition and cleanliness • Maintain vehicles by keeping service records, scheduling, and completing repairs and maintenance • Inspect equipment for wear and notify customer or Operations Manager of findings • Complete paperwork for each job, including daily time, progress, duration, and maintain files • Serve as direct customer contact representing the company • Determine parts to order for repairs and ensure timely delivery • Record parts, material, labor, subcontractor and other cost data per assignment and return unused resources • Submit all required paperwork and reports promptly • Stay current on all products concerning installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair • Read and interpret product specifications • Provide technical support to customers • Travel regularly with occasional overnight trips as needed
