Job Highlights
About the Role
The successful candidate will drive growth of the Power & Pump portfolio across Central Scotland by delivering the territory sales plan, introducing Carrier’s product range, and identifying strategic opportunities to increase market share. They will collaborate with colleagues to uphold industry-leading standards, build value-adding relationships with existing customers, and prospect new business. Key duties include managing CRM data, reporting on enquiries, hires and sales, and supporting payment collection for services rendered in the area. Ongoing personal development on product and application knowledge is expected. • Deliver and manage the territory sales plan • Introduce Carrier’s products and services to new and existing markets • Identify strategic opportunities to increase market share • Collaborate with colleagues to maintain industry-leading customer standards • Build and strengthen value‑adding relationships with existing customers • Prospect and acquire new customers and expand opportunities with current accounts • Maintain and utilise CRM and other Carrier data systems • Generate reports on enquiries, hires, and sales for the designated area • Support collection of payments for services provided in the territory

What You Bring
Applicants should have outside sales experience in plant hire or construction, preferably with pump, generator, solar or battery-storage solutions. Proficiency in MS Office, strong communication across multiple stakeholders, self-motivation, and a UK driving licence are essential. • Possess outside sales experience in plant hire, construction, or pump solutions • Have knowledge of generators, solar or battery‑storage equipment (preferred) • Demonstrate strong MS Office and communication skills with multiple stakeholders • Show self‑motivation, a winning attitude, and hold a valid UK driving licence
