About the Role
What you’ll do: This position is responsible for executing the defined Strategic Quality Plan in conjunction with plant leadership, providing quality assurance support to customers, suppliers, partners and internal manufacturing cells, and participating in continuous improvement activities in targeted areas. It also executes the Quality Assurance strategy to ensure product flow consistent with industry standards, government regulations and customer requirements. • Provide Quality customer interface and expertise, lead complaint resolution and corrective action execution. • Support manufacturing by collecting and analyzing quality data, ensuring EQMS policies and best practices are applied. • Solve technical product, process and business problems using structured approaches such as 8D and Six Sigma. • Develop, implement and improve Quality Management Systems, supporting advanced quality planning for new product launches. • Audit internal Quality Systems and complete part approval documentation to meet customer requirements for new or modified products. • Analyze organizational quality metrics, perform periodic reviews and recommend action plans to close operational gaps. • Develop and analyze statistical data and product/process performance to recommend improvements in targeted areas. • Design and deliver quality assurance training programs and conduct training on quality‑related topics. • Participate in product development and launch activities, including customer expectation identification, reliability analysis and test program evaluation. • Support development and evaluation of process capability, control plans, out‑of‑control condition analysis and process audits. • Develop, implement and audit inspection and test plans, standards, acceptance criteria and work instructions. • Investigate and eliminate causes of quality problems and follow up on corrective actions. • Participate in the design, procurement, maintenance and evaluation of gauges, measurement instruments and test equipment. • Maintain knowledge of Eaton’s Quality System requirements. • Apply lean manufacturing techniques including pFMEA, Critical to Quality characteristics and control plans. • Use system and process auditing techniques to ensure compliance with defined quality requirements. • Apply Lean Manufacturing and Process Variation Reduction concepts to address process/product variability and determine corrective actions. • Lead cross‑functional process improvement teams.

What You Bring
The successful applicant will be in contact with US ITAR controlled technology, goods and information. As a condition of employment, employees with access to US ITAR controlled technology and goods may be required to undergo an additional screening process as part of the recruitment process. • Demonstrate thorough understanding of problem‑solving methods such as Six Sigma, 8D and root‑cause analysis with associated statistical tools. • Understand key phases and requirements of effective new product development and launch methodology. • Know industry and customer specific quality registration schemes and certification processes (ISO9001, EASA Part 21, AS9100, etc.). • Understand product and end‑user specifications, including testing requirements (design/process interface). • Possess thorough knowledge of gauging and basic product material properties. • Understand engineering design and product reliability concepts and tools. • Utilize advanced computer skills and Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint) and database systems.
