About the Role
The Generation & Natural Gas Storage team seeks a CT Journey Worker to inspect, operate, and maintain electrical and mechanical equipment at its generation plant in the Mint Farm Industrial Park, Longview, WA, about 40 miles north of Portland, Oregon. The role may involve operations or maintenance duties depending on plant needs. Work is performed both indoors and outdoors and includes activities such as standing, walking, lifting moderate to heavy loads, climbing, and operating light to heavy equipment. Employees must be prepared for varied weather, noise, and hazardous conditions and are required to wear protective clothing and safety devices. • Construct, install, inspect, operate, and maintain generation plant electrical and mechanical equipment, especially combustion turbines, internal combustion engines, steam and combined cycle facilities. • Drive and operate equipment; perform related duties as needed. • Respond to plant emergencies, work irregular schedules, overtime, and rotating shifts.
