Job Highlights
About the Role
Install and fit parts for heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment, consulting with manufacturers, designers, line leads, and supervisors. Perform precision assembling by reading engineering specifications and drawings, attaching brackets, hinges, clips, and fastening components with bolts, screws, or rivets. Position and align subassemblies in jigs using measuring instruments, conduct joinery work, and operate power hand tools. Transport construction materials, assist forklift operators, and inspect completed work against designs and blueprints. • Sit or stand for up to 95% of work hours. • Periodically work in a manufacturing facility with hot/cold temperatures, dust, and chemical fume exposure. • Install and fit heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment components. • Interpret engineering specifications, drawings, and blueprints. • Assemble and align subassemblies using jigs, fixtures, and measuring tools. • Secure parts with brackets, hinges, clips, bolts, screws, or rivets. • Perform joinery work, including installing flashing and structural supports. • Operate power hand tools such as hammer drills and straightedges. • Transport materials and assist forklift operators in moving metal studs and components. • Inspect completed work to verify compliance with design specifications.
