About the Role

The Restoration Technician works as part of a team to deliver emergency services and content restoration for residential and commercial properties, adhering to company policies and EPA, OSHA, and local safety regulations. The role requires availability for after‑hours and weekend emergency response as needed. • Restore contents in residential and commercial properties. • Perform cleanup, pack customer items, clean on‑site, service HVAC and deodorize facilities. • Inventory site contents, set up emergency equipment, prepare and store items. • Follow safety rules, guidelines, and wear protective gear. • Operate standard tools and equipment. • Inspect and perform preventive maintenance on equipment. • Maintain warehouse, stock supplies, and perform building upkeep. • Work at heights using ladders and scaffolding. • Conduct hazardous waste operations.

What You Bring

Technical skills include the ability to perform basic arithmetic operations with whole numbers, fractions, and decimals, and to calculate rates, ratios, and percentages required for restoration tasks. Strong communication abilities are essential, including reading and interpreting safety rules and manuals, writing routine reports and correspondence, and speaking effectively to customers and coworkers. The work environment is often dirty, dusty, noisy, and may involve uneven ground, hazardous substances, extreme weather, and the use of personal protective equipment, with frequent travel required. Physical demands include maintaining good health to meet OSHA HAZWOPER medical clearance, wearing full or half‑face respirators, working in confined spaces, and regularly lifting and carrying up to 75 pounds. Required certifications include a current valid environmental physical for respirator use, OSHA 40‑hour HAZWOPER certification, a state driver’s license, and forklift operator certification. Preferred qualifications include construction industry experience, IICRC Water Restoration certification, heavy equipment operation skills, a positive attitude, strong work ethic, adherence to safety policies, legal eligibility to work in the United States, and bilingual English/Spanish ability is encouraged. • High school diploma or equivalent. • 2–4 years construction experience with water/fire damage, environmental and hazardous waste work.
