About the Role

The Senior Tax Counsel will provide global tax advice and counsel to minimize Parsons Corporation’s worldwide tax burden. The role involves setting and administering transfer pricing policy, identifying planning opportunities, and advising senior leadership on the tax consequences of contracts, expansions, acquisitions, and divestitures. • Set and administer global transfer pricing policy and ensure compliance. • Identify and execute tax planning opportunities worldwide. • Advise on tax implications of major contracts, proposals, bids, expansions, acquisitions, and divestitures. • Research and analyze complex direct and indirect tax issues, drafting memos and providing guidance. • Support corporate finance, restructuring, financing, and development teams with tax expertise during transactions and joint ventures. • Lead and participate in domestic and international tax audits, handling research, negotiation, and resolution. • Collaborate with HR and Project Management on expatriate tax calculations, employment agreements, and payroll compliance. • Provide tax support for special projects as directed by the VP, Taxes.

What You Bring

• Require JD degree and law license (preferred) with 15+ years of progressive U.S. and international tax experience. • Demonstrated leadership, profitability orientation, and thorough knowledge of domestic and foreign tax regulations. • Experience with international agreements granting tax exemptions to U.S. government contractors. • Ability to interpret complex technical, financial, and legal documents and present findings to senior leadership. • Proficient in Excel.
