About the Role
• Test and troubleshoot continuity of fiber optic networks • Operate testing equipment and resolve common fiber optic network challenges • Utilize fusion splicer and test equipment (OTDR 1310/1550, DWDM, CWDM, 945 OLTS, Max Tester, power meter) • Apply fiber engineering knowledge to read designs, documentation, light levels, and dB loss • Work on outdoor utility construction sites • Prioritize safety in all tasks
