About the Role
The Security Analyst will own the analysis, maintenance and implementation of cyber‑security requirements, focusing on Microsoft services and the wider technology estate. Working within a cyber‑security team, the role monitors threat status, reviews data from Microsoft Defender and Sentinel, and drives the adoption of recommended security enhancements across infrastructure, cloud, SaaS and network systems. The analyst also creates roadmaps, reports and dashboards to keep stakeholders informed and supports incident response activities. • Review and enforce Taylor Wimpey security standards across all infrastructure and applications. • Analyse data from Microsoft Defender and Sentinel and implement recommended security enhancements. • Monitor emerging security advice and apply updates to Microsoft services, Azure, AD, SaaS and network systems. • Develop and maintain a security improvement roadmap, prioritising actions based on risk appetite. • Produce risk reports, dashboards and communications for stakeholders using Power BI and Power Apps. • Participate in incident response, investigation, containment and recovery activities. • Research and evaluate new security products, recommending solutions to strengthen the security posture. • Engage with internal and external teams to create remediation plans and ensure ISMS compliance.

What You Bring
• Minimum three years of operational cyber‑security experience. • Experience with Microsoft security configuration and administration on critical systems. • Ability to work autonomously and communicate effectively with all management levels. • Formal security certification (e.g., CISM) or equivalent is desirable.
