About the Role

The Operator I assembles or packs various products, performs quality tests per specification, and ensures production demands are met. They can recognize basic equipment errors and report or perform basic troubleshooting tasks. In production, the Operator I operates and controls auxiliary and semi‑automatic equipment and assists higher‑level operators. They use measuring tools to meet quality specifications, train lower‑level operators, handle material equipment, update shop‑floor management systems, perform basic troubleshooting, and can run multiple machines while maintaining required output. The operator monitors workstations for low supplies, pulls materials from stock areas, transports them using appropriate handling equipment, and notifies supervisors or material handlers when supplies reach reorder levels. They test and inspect products to ensure they meet all quality specifications, report non‑conforming items, follow non‑conforming product procedures, isolate or rework defective items, and accurately input data into the quality control system. Additional duties include participating in 6S activities, workshops, meetings, and cross‑functional training. The role may require shift changes and wearing designated personal protective equipment. • Operate and control auxiliary and semi‑automatic production equipment. • Assist higher‑level operators and train lower‑level operators. • Use measuring equipment to verify quality specifications. • Update shop‑floor management system and CIP boards as needed. • Monitor workstation supplies, pull and transport materials, and alert when reorder levels are reached. • Test, inspect, and document product quality; isolate or rework non‑conforming items. • Input accurate data into the quality control system. • Participate in 6S activities, workshops, meetings, and cross‑functional training. • Apply basic reading, writing, arithmetic, and manual dexterity with small parts. • Interpret work orders, instructions, blueprints, and drawings. • Adhere to high quality standards consistently.

What You Bring

The position requires basic reading, writing and arithmetic, good manual dexterity with small parts, ability to perform repetitive tasks, effective communication, and the ability to interpret work orders, instructions, blueprints, or drawings. It also demands a positive attitude, superior service, and adherence to the highest quality standards. A high school diploma or equivalent and 6–12 months of related experience are required, though equivalent education and experience combinations may be considered. • Perform basic troubleshooting and run multiple machines while maintaining output. • Wear required personal protective equipment and adapt to shift changes as needed. • Communicate effectively and maintain a positive attitude and superior service. • Possess a high school diploma/equivalent and 6–12 months related experience (or equivalent combos).
