About the Role
The Technician will review equipment and controls submittals for contract compliance, assist project managers with equipment start‑up and commissioning, and work closely with control subcontractors and equipment vendors. They will manage commissioning deficiency logs, conduct pre‑functional and functional performance tests, and diagnose HVAC and refrigeration performance through observation, testing, and setup. • Review equipment and controls submittals for contract compliance. • Assist project managers with equipment start‑up and commissioning. • Coordinate with control subcontractors and equipment vendors during startup. • Manage commissioning deficiency logs (e.g., Cx Alloy). • Perform pre‑functional checks and functional performance tests. • Diagnose HVAC, refrigeration, and system performance through observation and testing. • Troubleshoot and conduct preventative maintenance on HVAC and plumbing equipment. • Operate hand tools, power tools, gauges, and measuring equipment. • Follow construction plans and specifications for proper installation and repair. • Communicate effectively with peers, supervisors, and customers. • Maintain a stable work history showing responsibility and professional growth.

What You Bring
Candidates must follow construction plans and specifications, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, and pass a drug screen. Required experience includes building automation systems, HVAC technology, laser pump alignments, and commercial equipment such as air handlers, fans, cooling towers, chillers, DX split and VRF systems, along with strong communication skills and a stable work history. • Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and pass a drug screen. • Demonstrate prior experience with building automation systems (BacNET, low‑voltage wiring, control valves). • Possess HVAC technician experience with laser pump alignments, air handlers, fans, cooling towers, chillers, DX split, and VRF systems.
