About the Role

The Operations Supervisor – Hauling Operations supervises collection activities across commercial, residential, roll‑off, and container lines in a geographically dispersed area. The role manages drivers and helpers, collaborates with the Operations Manager and General Manager, and drives functional excellence and budget achievement while ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, regulatory, accounting, and ethical standards. Key responsibilities include leading safety initiatives and removing unsafe conditions, partnering with sales and maintenance to keep equipment compliant, and fostering a culture of safety among employees. The supervisor delivers a superior customer experience by meeting service expectations, handling missed pickups, resolving service issues, and communicating effectively with stakeholders. Efficiency duties involve setting productivity goals, managing labor and disposal costs, optimizing routes, reducing travel time, and supporting fleet maintenance to meet budget targets. Employee engagement focuses on building a collaborative team environment, developing talent, coaching for career advancement, and performing other assigned duties.

The position offers a salary range of $93,900 to $129,150, with eligibility for an annual incentive bonus.
