About the Role

Manufacturing Production Workers are responsible for setting up, operating, maintaining, and troubleshooting machining, processing, assembly, or packaging equipment to produce products that meet specifications, schedules, cost targets, and quality standards. They also handle material movement, packing, sorting, and monitor output quality, recording daily production data for performance analysis. Key duties include efficiently operating and calibrating machines that produce transformer bushings, performing regular inspections and quality checks, reporting defects, and adhering to safety protocols. Operators follow SOPs, conduct autonomous machine maintenance, coordinate with maintenance teams, maintain accurate production records, and ensure documentation meets regulatory requirements while collaborating with colleagues to meet targets. • Operate, set up, calibrate, and troubleshoot transformer bushing production machines • Perform regular quality inspections and report any defects • Follow all safety protocols and participate in safety training • Adhere to standard operating procedures and work instructions • Conduct autonomous machine maintenance and coordinate preventive/breakdown maintenance with the maintenance team • Keep accurate production records, including machine settings, output, and issues • Ensure documentation complies with regulatory requirements • Collaborate with team members and other departments to meet production targets • Uphold Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity • Read and interpret technical documents, blueprints, and work instructions

What You Bring

A Specialist Para‑Professional (S4) brings advanced operational knowledge acquired through extensive experience and possibly vocational or technical education. They work with limited supervision on non‑routine situations, may lead daily operations, train and review lower‑level staff, and resolve difficult but not complex problems. Candidates should hold a diploma or equivalent, with a technical certification in machine operation preferred, and have at least two years of machine‑operator experience, ideally in the transformer bushing sector. They must be proficient in operating and maintaining manufacturing equipment, understand quality control and safety regulations, read technical documents and blueprints, possess strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and communicate effectively in English. • Hold a diploma or equivalent; technical certification in machine operation is a plus • Minimum two years of machine‑operator experience, preferably in transformer bushings • Demonstrate proficiency in operating and maintaining manufacturing machinery • Apply strong quality‑control knowledge and safety‑regulation awareness • Exhibit problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and fluent English communication
