About the Role
A Driver‑CDL (B) is responsible for safely operating a collection truck and providing prompt, courteous, complete waste removal services for customers. The driver must ensure the vehicle complies with the company’s safety standards before operation, adhere to all company, state and federal regulations, and complete daily vehicle condition reports to address defects promptly. The driver performs thorough pre‑ and post‑operation vehicle inspections, checking tire pressure, fluid levels, safety equipment, gauges, and controls, and reports any safety issues. They follow the route sheet, operate manual or automatic controls to lift, load, compact, and dispose of refuse at the designated facility, and interact courteously with customers and dispatchers. The driver monitors waste for unacceptable material, tags unsuitable containers, cleans accidental spills, and keeps the truck clean by removing waste from the packer blade and body. They complete required route, productivity, and vehicle condition reports while meeting productivity standards and participating in the ReSOP safety program.

What You Bring
Good customer service skills are required to exceed expectations, and the driver must act professionally, honestly, and cooperatively with customers and coworkers. Strong time‑management, follow‑through, and adherence to company policies and safety standards are essential, as is pride in the work and a commitment to achieving goals.
