About the Role
Key responsibilities include leading mechanical engineering design on assigned projects, coordinating with the piping design team, and developing drawings such as general arrangements, P&IDs, isometrics, and orthographic views. The engineer will generate deliverables throughout all project phases, create construction and equipment specifications, support construction and commissioning, perform quality control reviews, and interact with vendors, regulators, and contractors. • Lead mechanical engineering design for power generation projects. • Coordinate with piping design team and produce drawings, P&IDs, and isometrics. • Generate mechanical deliverables from feasibility through detail design, including specifications and material requisitions. • Support construction, start‑up, commissioning, and conduct quality control reviews. • Engage with vendors, regulatory agencies, contractors, and present technical solutions to clients.

What You Bring
Minimum qualifications are a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering and at least six years of relevant experience, specifically in mechanical engineering for power‑generation facilities. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree, Professional Engineer license, 12+ years in power‑generation, expertise as a project technical mechanical lead, familiarity with industry codes (API, ASME, etc.), and proficiency in software such as Thermoflow, Hysys, Caesar II, and BIM 360. • Minimum: BS in Mechanical Engineering and 6+ years experience in power‑generation mechanical engineering. • Preferred: Master’s degree, PE license, 12+ years power‑generation experience, expertise with industry codes and software (Thermoflow, Hysys, Caesar II, BIM 360).
