About the Role
The Sr. Account Executive will cover the West Coast region, focusing on the Municipal, University, School, and Hospital (MUSH) sector. This role drives consultative sales of energy infrastructure solutions, including Energy Savings Performance Contracts (ESPC) and other long‑term agreements, to agency executives and C‑level leaders. Key duties include educating customers, influencing buying decisions, leading competitive RFP/RFQ responses, managing the sales funnel, and achieving annual revenue targets. The executive will also mentor junior AEs, coordinate with sub‑contractors, and maintain post‑sale relationships to support ongoing customer goals. • Sell energy infrastructure solutions to MUSH agencies through ESPC and other long‑term contracts. • Educate and consult with executive customers to uncover new business opportunities. • Influence buying decisions and align solutions with energy‑decarbonization policies. • Lead RFP/RFQ authoring and coordinate internal teams and sub‑contractors. • Manage sales funnel, meet annual sales targets, and drive post‑sale account growth. • Mentor junior account executives and participate in process‑improvement initiatives.

What You Bring
Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED, at least seven years of experience selling to MUSH or design‑build markets, and five years of experience engaging C‑level targets. Preferred qualifications include a bachelor's degree, ten or more years of ESPC experience, and strong knowledge of public procurement, building conservation measures, and water‑wastewater markets. • Minimum 7 years selling to municipal, university, school, or hospital markets; 5 years to C‑level. • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree and 10 years ESPC/design‑build experience. • Knowledge of public procurement, building conservation measures, and water/wastewater markets.

The position offers a base‑plus‑commission compensation structure with a pay range of $146,750 to $205,250, plus short‑term cash incentives.
