About the Role
The Transmission Section Manager will lead the production section, overseeing operations, staff development, profitability, quality control, and marketing support, while acting as project manager on assignments and coordinating technical services across sections. • Responsible for operations of production section, including staff development, profitability, morale, quality control, and marketing support. • Act as Project Manager, overseeing production on projects while managing staff. • Administer section staff and technical service functions, coordinating services with other sections. • Participate in marketing planning, proposals, and client interviews. • Engage directly with industrial and public clients on marketing, project production, and related issues. • Ensure all work is planned, organized, controlled, and evaluated via proactive project management system. • Implement, monitor, and support company policy. • Select, train, develop, and manage technical personnel. • Manage and develop multidisciplinary teams. • Collaborate with National Directors and marketing staff on local and national marketing and production efforts.

What You Bring
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, possess at least ten years of relevant experience, and may need professional licensure. Strong communication, leadership, organizational skills, and a commitment to HDR’s employee‑owned culture are required. • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience. • Professional registration, license, or certification as required by the role. • Strong communication and listening skills. • Ability to manage multiple assignments. • Good leadership and organizational abilities.
