About the Role
Reporting to the Building Operations Coordinator (BOC), this role manages day‑to‑day helpdesk requests, reactive moves and churns while demonstrating high‑level security awareness and knowledge of emergency evacuation procedures. Operational expertise includes trouble ticket responses, IT equipment setup assistance, and small works covering painting, plumbing, electrical and carpentry tasks. Daily duties involve handling helpdesk tickets, assisting IT support with new hire equipment setup, performing small works such as painting, lock and door‑closer installations, plumbing, electrical and carpentry, and completing general janitorial tasks like unblocking toilets and replacing light bulbs. The role also coordinates internal moves, wears appropriate PPE, conducts building‑fabric audits, records monthly utility meter readings and occasionally assists security personnel. • Manage daily helpdesk requests and resolve trouble tickets. • Assist IT support with new hire equipment setup on desks. • Perform small works including painting, lock and handle installation, door closers, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, deliveries, and collections. • Conduct general janitorial duties such as unblocking toilets and replacing defective light bulbs. • Coordinate internal moves and churns while complying with health and safety standards. • Wear appropriate PPE and conduct risk assessments for all tasks. • Conduct building‑fabric audits and support the BOC with BMS/system knowledge. • Record monthly utility meter readings and assist security personnel as needed.

What You Bring
Required qualifications include a minimum of three years’ experience with strong DIY, carpentry and basic electrical skills, a leaving certificate, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities, excellent verbal and written communication, and proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing. Candidates must be customer‑focused, experienced with helpdesk and ticket systems, and possess a solid understanding of health‑and‑safety requirements, PPE, and emergency evacuation procedures. Preferred qualifications are a licensed building technician or relevant trade certification, experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and utility management, a background in facilities management or building‑operations environments, and familiarity with internal moves, building‑fabric audits, IT equipment setup and security protocols. • Apply at least three years of DIY experience with carpentry and basic electrical skills. • Demonstrate strong communication, problem‑solving, and spreadsheet proficiency. • Know health‑and‑safety regulations, PPE requirements, and emergency evacuation procedures. • Hold a licensed building technician or relevant trade certification (preferred). • Experience with Building Management Systems and utility management (preferred). • Background in facilities management, internal moves, and building‑fabric audits (preferred).
