About the Role

The Senior Consultant will collaborate with clients, architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to develop ICT designs, perform calculations and equipment selections, produce plans, schematics, specifications, and narratives, and manage construction administration tasks such as field inspections and RFI processing. The position also involves business development activities, QA/QC oversight, and coordination with multidisciplinary design teams. • Support engineering design for ICT systems across diverse facility types. • Lead business development activities: proposals, networking events, and presentations. • Perform calculations, load analysis, equipment selection, and create schematics. • Prepare design documentation: plans, narratives, specifications, and renderings. • Coordinate with internal design teams and external stakeholders such as owners, architects, and vendors. • Oversee QA/QC processes to ensure design compliance and quality. • Manage construction administration tasks: field inspections, RFI processing, and change orders. • Assist senior staff with project scheduling, staffing, and budgeting. • Write AV proposals and stay current through continuing education.

What You Bring

Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical discipline and possess at least seven years of design experience in the listed facility types. Strong communication and organizational skills are required, with additional value placed on knowledge of security systems, AV equipment expertise, AutoCAD/Revit proficiency, and professional certifications such as CTS, RCDD, PE, or PSP. • Hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 7+ years of relevant design experience. • Demonstrate strong written and verbal communication and organizational skills. • Possess detailed knowledge of AV equipment; security systems knowledge a plus. • Experience with AutoCAD/Revit preferred; certifications such as CTS, RCDD, PE, or PSP desirable.
